With fire knocking at the doorstep of the entire west coast knowledge is key to aviation safety. Wildland fires can start and spread in a matter of minutes. Civilian unmanned aircraft must be aware of fire season, and the airspace they fly in. Flying in a TFR (temporary flight restriction) is absolutely not permitted. A large issue with wildland fire and TFR's is the need for aerial video feeds for news stations. This endangers personnel on the ground and puts a halt on all manned aviation aiding in suppression efforts. Its not worth risking anyones life; follow any and all restrictions of a TFR and keep the UAS world out of the negative spotlight. Happy Flying -Rogue Recon.
